Granulated beet pulp – extracted sugar beet pulp, feed waste from sugar beet production, used for animal feeding. This product has a long storage life and is therefore widely used in animal husbandry.
Granulated beet pulp – gray-green cylinders with a diameter of 8–10 mm, contains up to 88% dry matter.
Application
Beet pulp occupies an average position between oats and hay in terms of nutrition, contains 1.5 times more easily digestible substances than hay and almost as much as oats. Beet pulp is a valuable source of fiber and the best natural source of energy. In addition, beet pulp is a source of calcium (limestone is added during extraction when making sugar).
The advantages of storing and transporting granulated beet pulp are recognized everywhere: space saving and long storage times, as well as the ability to transport large quantities in a small space, are now an important factor in cost calculation.
